In this training, we will dive deeper into the complex, often overlooked challenges that schools face when supporting grieving students. We will focus on traumatic grief, the unique needs when a student dies, suicide in schools, and the emotional and academic impacts when a student is diagnosed with a terminal illness.

Ideal for educators, counselors, social workers, and school psychologists who are ready to address the heightened emotional needs and create an inclusive, supportive school environment for grieving students.

Participants will learn how to manage grief-related crises in schools, offer support to the families of grieving students, and create appropriate school-wide responses to trauma, death, and significant illness.
